‘Soulscapes & Jazz Breaks’ is the brand new album from British based Hip-Hop/ Jazz duo Pat D & Lady Paradox. The album is a culmination of a years worth of late night beat making, early morning jam sessions and solid hard work. The album is a representation of Soulful Jazz influences blended with Hip-Hop based production that allows Lady Paradox to explore with an introspective, humble and intelligent flow.
‘Soulscapes & Jazz Breaks’ feels and sounds like a natural progression for this producer/emcee duo, not only in the sound/ quality of production but also in the ideas and the execution of ideas. The albums main focus is to create an easy laid back lounge feel by mixing live Jazz based instruments with Hip-Hop production and interesting guest vocalists with intelligent and touching subject matter.
The album is 12 tracks long and features guest vocalists such as Benjamin Zephaniah, Meloidq, Selone, Efeks, Eva Lazarus and Praverb. ‘Soulscapes & Jazz Breaks’ also boasts the addition of several guest musicians from around the world and features live Trumpet, Sax, Guitar, Keys, Viola and Flute.
