A Bridge Too Far Recordings

A Bridge Too Far Recordings was started in late 2006 by DJ /Producer Pat D as a way of releasing his Jazzy Hip-Hop recordings. The label’s first release was a 12″ EP featuring American emcee ‘Melodiq’ called ‘This is the Time’. This record was a limited pressing of just 500 copies.

Since then the label has released several Vinyl and CD recordings and received interest from overseas especially Europe and Japan. The 2007 release of ‘Kind of Peace’ with ‘Lady Paradox’ saw A Bridge Too Far Link with Japanese Label P-Vine Records in a licensing agreement that helped to spread their music throughout Japan. This was followed by a Pat D solo album called ‘Take a Little Time’, released Japan only in 2008.

Now in 2009 A Bridge Too Far wish to continue this growth and plan to add to their roster of artists and collaborators with at least three releases planned for 2009 including music from French producers ‘Fakehunters’, London based beatsmith ‘K15′ and a Pat D & Lady Paradox follow up album.

The label’s music policy is relaxing, soulful music from the insightful and poetic rhymes of Lady Paradox to the smooth and laid back flow of Melodiq A Bridge Too Far aim to provide that Soul in your smile and Jazz in your step.
