The 411 Show.

The 411 show is a new online magazine/mixtape/radio show that showcases independent artists and musicians. The first edition has gone live recently and contains a write up and interview with Lady Paradox as well as featuring ‘Train of Thought’ on the first mixtape download. The magazine and site is well designed and nicely put together so get over there, check out the interview and show them some support. The 411 Show!

New Releases.

Despite our setback last month we are still planning a couple of new releases(albeit digital only) for the remainder of this year. The first release (which will hopefully be available around August time) is by the French group the Boom Bap Orkestra. The release sees A Bridge Too Far continue in a similar Jazzy Hip-Hop style whilst featuring French spoken emcees and artists. The release will be available on iTunes (worldwide), Amazon, Rhapsody, Juno Download as well as the usual digital retailers.

Keep an ear out for snippets in the coming month or so. Or check out their myspace.

Pat D & Lady Paradox Update!

Just a quick update on the progress of Pat D & Lady Paradox’s second album (due out later this year). The pair have recently been in the studio completing a few more tracks with a couple of guest emcees and vocalists. The end is in sight for the completion of this album and new song snippets will be available to check out soon! To help promote this, Pat D & Lady P will be appearing on local BBC radio show, Raw Talent, on August 9th to play a few tracks and have a chat. Be sure to check that out to hear some exclusive new material.

That’s the news for now, until next time, all the best.

Do you want the good news, or the bad news?

Let’s start with the bad. As some of you may know, A Bridge Too Far Recordings were planning the release of a 12″ single from the French producers FakeHunters which was scheduled for release in a couple of weeks. However, the label recently received some bad news in that the company pressing the vinyl (Media Sourcing) recently went into liquidation. This leaves A Bridge Too Far Recordings out of pocket and with no records to show for it, meaning there is a serious delay releasing this and any subsequent vinyl release while the money lost is recouped. If you are dealing with or have outstanding orders with Media Sourcing then be warned as they have not been totally upfront about their financial difficulties and have made things fairly difficult so far.

Anyway, on with the good news. Two more A Bridge Too Far tracks have been selected for an upcoming Japanese compilation series that is scheduled for release in Japan in June. Look out for the tracks Good Times feat Eva Lazarus and Summertime by Pat D & Lady Paradox on the upcoming Mellow Beats compilation soon to be released on P-Vine Records.

Pat D & Lady Paradox.

Just a quick update on the progress of the new album from Pat D & Lady Paradox, due out later this year. The pair are back in the studio throughout June to hopefully complete writing and recording the remaining vocals for the album. More updates will be given as recording is completed. Pat D & Lady Paradox are also planning for a promotional video to be shot for one or two tracks, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on that.

For now, that is all. However be sure to keep checking back for more info on all of the above news items.
